Our senior hurlers suffered a defeat in the semi final of the Dermot molloy Hurling League despite scoring a very encouraging 1-14 we lost out to Calry by 6 points
Sunday saw three club teams in action and unfortunately all 3 suffered defeats. Second out were our senior footballers who were badly depleted because of injuries suffered last week lost out to Shamrock Gaels
The Final team in action were our u14 footballers who faced St Mary's in the league final in Bubbinadden. A couple of early goals settled the Mary's lads nerves and they never allowed our lads to get going. Was it not for a few fine saves from our goalkeeper Cian O Hara the margin of victory could have been much greater. The squad did us proud in reaching the final and now have a few weeks to regroup and get back ready for the championship.
Any one wishing to get the replica Club Jerseys, our Secretary Therese Walsh can be contacted with all sizes available.
