Our senior Footballers got off to a great start in the Kiernan Cup at the weekend with a comprehensive victory over Geevagh at home. The game marked the senior competitive debuts for Andrew Kennedy and Daryn Walsh and both had fine games it also saw the return of Enda Kelly and Colin Neary who had missed most of last year. Although depleted it was a great early season work out. Next weekend is a free weekend and were back the 27th.
There will be a code of ethics course in Tubbercurry in Teach Laighne this Wednesday evening and it is essential that all coaches in the club attend.
There were a number of teams back in training this week to join our minor footballers who have resumed with Paddy and Michael Henry and Gerry Gavaghan and Matt Marren they are in action on the weekend of the 27th for their first match. The u14 boys returned in the Astro Turf in Ki9lmactigue on Sunday last while the Ladies who plan to build on our intermediate triumph returned on Sunday last.
The Bingo is back into full swing now on Tuesday nights with both the snowball and jackpot prize money growing.
If you want to ease your worries of the election count we will be holding the 1st of our quarterly €5 Club Syndicate Lottery draw in Flynn’s on the 26th of Feb.
For those not eligible to vote yet we will have our mid term disco in Banada Hall on Friday the 25th.
