Our Club and Tourlestrane GAA Fundraising Committee are hosting a Monster Quiz on Good Friday, 25th of March, in Banada Abbey Hall. Mascot to be raffled on the night of our Monster Quiz (Good Friday, 25th of March) Lines cost €2 each. It includes Large Teddy, Scarf, Large Flag, 2 Beanie Hats, 1 Baseball Cap AND a Tourlestrane Jersey.
Our Senior Hurlers play in round 2 of theTain League when they take on Roscommon Gaels this Saturday. the 20th of February) at 6.30pm in Tourlestrane. This game comes as a fixture change due to a match clash with Sligo and Louth when they meet in the Lory Meagher Competition.
Senior Ladies training resumes this Friday at 9.30pm at the main field. All new or returning players welcome.
Club Sligo 2016 was launched recently, the main fundraiser for Sligo GAA. Anyone who wishes to buy a ticket to support our county teams should contact any of our club officers at Tourlestrane GAA.

The next Banada Teenage Disco will take place on Friday the 18th of March (St. Patrick's Weekend).

Best of luck to St. Attracta's CS boys team who take on St. Colman's on Sunday in the semi final of the Connacht A Schools Championship. The game throws in at 2pm in the Connacht Center of Excellence, Ballyhanius.
Liam Og Gormley has confirmed that he is running a Foundation Course in The Teeling Centre, Collooney on Friday, 4th March from 7 to 10pm. He will also be running an Award 1 course in the Hilary Room in Banada towards the end of March so it is important that anyone who has not completed the Foundation Course attend if possible to enable them to complete the Award 1 the end of March.
Eamonn Mullen, the Sligo Children's Officer is also going to be holding a Child Protection Course shortly - details to follow when the date and venue is confirmed.
As the law has changed regarding requirements for Coaches this year, it is important that anyone who has not already completed the courses required attend if possible.
