Our Senior Men's Division 1 game against Ballymote was postponed again this weekend due to weather conditions and an unplayable pitch. The team now have a break in the league until the June Bank Holiday weekend when they are due to take on St. Patrick's. The team currently sit third in the table on 10 points with a game in hand.
The Senior team are hosting a "Sports Quiz" this Friday night at 10pm in Flynn's pub, Aclare. All support would be much appreciated and we thank all our supporters who continue to support our teams. (Picture attached)
The club would like to wish club man, Eamonn O'Hara well on his retirement from the county scene after 19 years of serving the team. Eamonn will continue to play for the green and gold. The Divsion 3 Men's team take on League leaders, St. Michael's on Saturday evening at 7.30pm at home in round 8 of the league. The team sit mid table half way through their league campaign.
Our U16 boys team were unlucky against St. Farnan's on Monday last. The team play Shamerock Gaels on Monday the 20th of May in the Shield Final in Shamerock Gaels park at 7pm.
The U14 boys team take on Coolaney/Mullinabreena this Wednesday at 7pm in Tourlestrane.
Pride of the parish goes to another pair of All Ireland medal winners. Maeve Normanly and Molly Kennedy were part of the triumphant Sligo U14 girls team who won the All Ireland Blitz on Saturday last. Well done to all involved. (Picture attached)
Our U12 boys hurlers take to the field for their second game on the season when they take on Easkey tonight (Tuesday) at 7.15 in Easkey.
The U-8 and U-10 teams are looking to recycle children's Tourlestrane jerseys so the club is putting a call out to parents and children who may have Tourlestrane jerseys that are now too small, to recycle them back into the club. Please contact Fintan Kennedy for further details.

Well done to Adrian McIntyre, Brian Egan, Alan Dunne and the rest of the Sligo Junior team on beating Mayo in the Connaght Junior Final in Salthill on Sunday last on a scoreline of 15 points to 1-11.
