Club Notes 1st July

Best of luck to Tracy O' Hara, Claire Colleran and the rest of the Sligo
Ladies Squad and Management who play Roscommon in the Connacht Ladies Intermediate final on Sunday next.

With the ever popular Cul Camp in Tourlestrane this week we will have no training for u8 or u10. We are hosting a Blitz for both u8 and u10 mixed footballers on Wed 11th in The Main pitch with St Farnan's, Cloonacool and Bunninadden coming to us. Any parents wishing to help out with refreshments on the evening please contact Fintan, Ian, David Bailey or David Surlis and please come out and show your support for our stars of the future.

Our u14 Hurlers with 2 wins under their belt face Western Gaels at home on Wednesday evening at 7.30 in the league.

While the Minor Hurlers face the same opposition the following day at 7.30 also in Tourlestrane. While the U16 Hurlers face Easkey in Tourlestrane on Monday evening the 9th at 7.30.

Following their great win over Eastern Harps our U14 footballers have qualified for the League Semi Final and the home venue against St John's. So come out and Support Matt Marren's young squad.

Our Division 4 Team continue their preparations for the Junior B Championship with a home game to St Farnan's on Friday night next at 8.30.

As we enter into real championship season a couple of dates to note in your diary in the coming weeks our Senior Hurlers open their Championship with an away game to Coolera on Saturday the 14th July while our Minor Footballers enter the Championship action with a home game to Tubbercurry on Thursday week the 12th July.

Our senior footballers continued their unbeaten run in the league with a good win over Shamrock Gaels on Saturday, we complete the league when we travel to St. Mary's  on Saturday night next. They will play their last 4 game against Corofin of Galway in the Connacht League (Leo Kenny Cup) on Tuesday night in Claremorris at 7.30.
