**A BUSY WEEK AHEAD!!**


**Tonight: (Tuesday 5th of May)**

Our Minor Boys face St. Molaise Gaels in the quarter final of the Division 1 league tonight at 7pm in Tourlestrane.


While our U-12 team travel to Oxfield to take on Drumcliffe/Rosses Point at 7pm in round 3 of their league.

 

Our U-12 girls are also in action tonight when they take on Owenmore Gaels at 7pm in Collooney.


Bingo tonight in Banada Abbey Hall. Snowball €6,700 on 45 calls or less, Jackpot €3,890 on 48 calls or less, Lotto €260. Minimum €2,000 payout each week. Waiting to be won.



**Tomorrow: (Wednesday 6th of May)**

Our U-16 Hurlers travel to Ransboro Park tomorrow night to take on Coolera/Strandhill in the semi final of the league at 7pm.


Our U-16 girls take on the same opposition at home at 7pm in the league.


Sligo Junior Men take on Mayo in the Connacht Junior Championship at 7.30pm in James Stephens Park, Ballina. The club will be represented through Brian Egan, Noel Gaughan and Cathal Henry. We wish the team and management every success in the campaign.



**Friday 8th of May**

Our U-14 girls take on St. Farnan's at 7pm in Tourlestrane in the league.


**Saturday 9th of May**

Sligo Ladies take on Waterford at 12:15pm in Parnell Park, Dublin in the Division 3 National League final. The game will be televised on TG4. Our club will be represented through Katie Walsh, Grainne Carty, Aisling Egan and manager, Paddy Henry. We wish the team and management every success in the league final, the first in 13 years.


**Sunday 10th of May**

Sligo Senior Men take on Fermanagh at 6,30pm on Sunday in a “Match for Oisín”. The game takes place in Brewster Park. There is no set admission fee on the day but there will be a collection on the gate which will go to the Oisín McGrath Foundation. The foundation has been formed in Oisín’s memory and all proceeds will be distributed to promote Organ Donation Awareness, Brain Stem and Brain Injury Research and local Youth Sports Development projects.

Well done to our Senior Men who recored a 2-14 to 0-8 win over Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in the league on Sunday last. Goals from Kenny Gavaghan and Brian Egan helped secure the win for the home side. The team sit in second place in the league table with 5 games played. 
Neither our Senior or Junior Men's teams are in action this weekend.


Well done to Tom Brennan Ruairí Brennan Peadar Leonard Aidan Walsh Gary Gaughan Declan Loughnane Gearóid Brennan Sean Wimsey and all the Sligo Hurling team and management on their 4-16 to 2-12 win over Leitrim on Saturday in the first round of the Lory Meagher Cup in Ballinamore.


Congratulations to Tourlestrane clubman & Sligo Ladies Manager Paddy Henry who has been named Ladies Gaelic Football Assosiation Manager of the Month for April. Paddy will be honored with an award today (Tuesday) in Croke Park.


Well done to our Community Games Futsol Team who won the County Final yesterday in Ballymote. The team now on to represent the parish in the Connacht Community Games. Many of this team were also part of the victorious U-12 Community Games Gaelic Football team in recent years. Team: Tara Walsh, Sarah Cunnie, Laura Surlis, Katie Molloy, Catherine Marren, Shauna Walsh, Claire Hegarty and Ellen Bailey. Well done to a very talented bunch of ladies.
