Our Intermediate ladies made it 2/2 on Sunday when they beat Eastern Harps by the narrowest of margins. The team were without a few regulars but welcomed back the return of Nikki Brennan. The team worked hard to the end with great combination work from Annmarie Kelly and Megan Gavigan to secure the second half goal which proved to be the difference between the teams. The final score 2-7 to 1-9. The team on duty was: Laura McIntyre, Jenny Lundy, Laura Walsh, Laura Neary, Edel Meers, Shauna Henry (C), Sarah Brennan, Tracy O'Hara, Claire Colleran, Anna Corcoran, Katie Walsh, Claire McIntyre, Annmarie Kelly, Nikki Brennan, Siobhan Carty. Subs: Sophie Leonard, Sinead Mooney and Megan Gavigan.
The team play neighbours Curry in the third round in an away tie next weekend. Time and date of the game will be on Facebook and Twitter later in the week.
The club would like to welcome Laura McIntyre to our club. Speedy recovery is also wished to Grainne Carty and Niamh Kelly who picked up injuries in recent games.

The Senior Hurlers were not in luck this weekend. On the back of their 1 point win over Coolera/Strandhill last weekend, the team travelled to Hazelwood where they took on Calry/St. Joseph's on Sunday evening last. The team lost on a comprehensive score line. This game marked the last game of the league stages of the championship.

The U16 Hurlers take on Coolera/Strandhill in the semi final of the A championship today (Monday the 29th of July) in Tourlestrane at 7.15. Good luck to all involved.

Our Senior Men's Football team play Ballymote on  Saturday evening next, the 3rd of August, in round 1 of the Senior Championship. The game takes place in Bunninadden Community Park at 6pm. Please show your support.

The Minor boys team continue their championship run when they play St. Mary's on Thursday, the 1st of August, in Tourlestrane at 7pm. The team were unlucky in round 1 when they suffered defeat at the hands of Tubbercurry/Cloonacool by a point recently.

The U-16s return to action when they play neighbours, Tubbercurry/Cloonacool in round 3 of the championship in Tourlestrane on Monday, the 5th of August, in Tourlestrane at 7pm. The team have already recorded wins over Calry/St. Joseph's and Easkey in the first two rounds, respectfully.

The U-14s play Coolaney/Mullinabreena in round 1 of the championship on Friday, the 2nd of August, in Tourlestrane at 7pm. Best wishes to the team and management with their championship campaign.

Congratulations and best wishes to Jacqueline O'Hara, Cloongoonagh, and Gary Moore who got married at the weekend.

The Kilmactigue Parish Gathering takes place this August Bank Holiday (2nd to the 4th) weekend with various events taking place from Parish Concert to the Ultimate Banada Disco for over 18s to a Parish Ball. A great weekend is planned and not to be missed.

The club would like to offer condolences and deepest sympathy to the Doherty family, Monasteraden, and the Eastern Harps club on the death tragic death of young footballer, Gerald Doherty. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
